The Lily Housing Corporation provides temporary
housing for single, employed, female heads of households and their
children. Qualified applicants will be offered temporary housing for
a period of time (generally from 6 months to 18 months). The Lily
Housing Corporation will take a holistic approach to meeting the
needs of our participants. We will focus on bringing restoration and
order to the lives of our participants through effective, practical
strategies designed to address their holistic needs. We understand
that the needs of our program participants are complex and
compounded by an acute need for debt relief and strategic personal
financial planning assistance. Therefore, the head of household will
receive a range of services through our Success Program to include
the following three components: 1) personal financial/credit
counseling; 2) career counseling; and 3) professional
individual/family counseling. Our primary objective is to meet the
needs of participants by providing safe and adequate temporary
housing while secondarily providing a support system of holistic
services designed to provide information, to sharpen skills,
confidence and to restore a greater sense of self-worth. Each
program participant will meet bi-monthly with a Program Coordinator
who will assist in a smooth transition throughout their tenure in a
Lily Home and finally into permanent housing of their own.
